I have been studying Spanish with Vanesa since January 2021. I initially only planned to do one ten-week course to keep busy during lock-down, but Vanesa's classes have been great and I'm still studying with her 2 years later! Vanesa's classes are fun, friendly, and really well put together. Each class always has a really good mix of everything - we practice speaking, we often quickly recap a topic that we've studied before to keep it fresh, and then we learn something new! One of my favourite things about Vanesa's teaching style is that, as well as helping us to get our Spanish grammatically correct, she'll always tell us the most natural, idiomatic way that a native speaker would say things and expressions that they would use! I've learnt so much, and would really recommend Vanesa as a teacher.

Highly flexible and effective teacher for all levels. I started from basics and took intensive classes with Vanesa. When time allowed 4-8 hours a day! I needed to get to a high level of conversational and business level of Spanish. Vanesa was very flexible to my schedule and took time out to accommodate my needs and specific interest in Spanish. When time allows I take intensive classes with her to improve my Spanish and knowledge about Spanish culture.

I have worked with several Spanish teachers over the years, and I can confidently say Vanesa is by far the best Spanish teacher I have ever had! Vanesa’s classes are highly structured, and she also has an adaptable approach to teaching which has been incredibly effective and much fun. Vanesa explains grammar with deep detail and examples taken from everyday life, which makes it more digestible. Vanesa is incredibly passionate about the Spanish language and has a very deep knowledge about Spanish culture, history, books, music theatre. Conservation classes are much fun as you can talk to Vanesa about anything! Having a native teacher is a huge advantage! I would highly recommend Vanesa to anyone at any level or objective to learn Spanish! 10/10

Vanessa's lessons are very helpful for me, they are always structured to my learning journey rather than to a set theory. She's also patient with me which I appreciate!

Vanesa is a great tutor! She is patient and from my experience very empathic. On request she supplied me with a lot of useful content she produced, to help with study, but has also been very helpful with practicing speaking… She knows when to push a little and when to ease off! All in all, I’m very lucky to have found her and can’t recommend her enough. Muchas Gracias Vanesa!
