I have teaching biology for almost 1 year now and this has consisted of students who are all at different stages, my youngest being in KS2.

I have a solid understanding of all biological concepts (even the hard ones) and I can easily break these down in a way that is easy for the student to understand. I also have access to many videos, animations and apps that I use for medical school and I utilise these in my lessons.

I don't enjoy using power-points to teach as Im not convinced they are worth it, therefore, I rely on apps like notability and good notes to pan out ideas and theories - making it easier to grasp tough notions.

My personal experience with biology has been very solid, with a previous BSc in Medical Physiology (1st Class with Honours), an A level in Human biology and now a 5th year Medical Students - Biology is most definitely my super-power!

I have been able to help my students achieve high grades - with almost all scoring over 80% in their assessments.

My experience as a HCA has allowed me to perfect my skills when dealing with different personalities, especially those who are academically challenged. I have been trained to teach students with learning difficulties, autism and language challenges. I can speak 3 languages proficiently and am able to use this in students who don't have a strong background in english.
