I have been working as an ESL teacher from past 10 years. I have worked as a regular Language teacher for almost 6 years. From last 4years I have been working an online English language teacher. My students range from 5years to 12 years of age. My lessons use lot of video , audio based resources as these resources are indispensable while working in an online format. I design my ppts and use them during my classes , I make use of interactive resources available online to make my lessons interesting. My lessons incorporate resources which help in developing skills such as speaking, reading, writing and listening.
A typical lesson consists of introduction, initial testing exercises, exploring the nuances of the concept, followed by explanation and finally doing tasks which help students understand its application.
I personally like to build a comfort zone for students so that they can feel confident enough to express their thoughts and ideas.
