I am a highly qualified teacher and native German speaker with more than 20 years of experience in blended classrooms as well as in traditional and
international settings in the US and in international settings in Europe. More specifically I have taught all subjects at primary school level in German at Atlanta International School as well as German to native and non-native speakers at primary school level at Berlin Brandenburg International School.

For more than one year now I have been teaching and tutoring German all levels to groups and individual students online as well as other primary school subjects, Mathematics included.

My teaching style is characterized by flexibility. For each student I am developing an individual approach to best obtain the required knowledge, based on the student's personality, educational background, and individual interests. My online instruction time is clearly structured. This way there are no surprises and the student will always know what to expect and what is ahead.

I am enjoying implementing a multi-media approach, a combination of oral and written language practice in person or of supplementary online material, with texts, videos, films, as well as apps for studying on the go. This way I am creating a more diverse learning experience and a more realistic language application with the aim of creating a sustained subject matter interest beyond the tutoring times. In all of this, my focus is always on the student.
