I worked at a Japanese University teaching English, French and Spanish to Japanese students. Classes were one-to-one and they were in a conversation structure. We had lots of fun talking about different topics that interested the student. Right now I am also tutoring advanced Spanish to university students at Newcastle University.
The content of my lessons vary a lot depending on the level of the student and also the language of their choosing. Though I normally try to make them as enjoyable as possible because I know what it is like to be bored in class. I normally do one hour classes but if you need more time you just have to ask. My classes are more focused on things that you are actually going to use more than grammar problems and syntax. Do not worry if you make mistakes just focus on making yourself understood.
