A lesson with me is typically very interactive! I like to make the first session student-based so that I can understand how you learn best. I like to set a quick test to see what level you’re at first, before we target specific concerns. I usually use power point presentations and PDFs, along with videos when necessary.

When I teach exam-focused students, I find that the key to success is doing practice papers, especially for GCSE and A -level. I also use model answers from previous students and my own work so that you can see exactly where you need to focus to get the best grade that you can!

For those still learning English, I take a very interactive approach and use the “I do , we do, you do” method. For the best English speaking skills, the method of me teaching you, then you repeating after me, then you having a go to use the words or phrases we’re learning in a sentence or conversation, are the best ways to reach fluency. I truly believe that stepping out of your comfort zone is the best way to achieve this, so I encourage lots of English conversation during class. If there are words or phrases that you do not yet understand, then we will keep practicing until you get it perfect! I also help you to gain the skills needed to write a CV or cover letter for any future jobs you may seek!
