I will explain the concepts, talk about real-life examples related to them, solve problems based on the concepts, and allocate time to solve the problems on your own, help you in planning the strategies to tackle the questions. Knowing which concepts to use in which questions, tips, and tricks to solve them. It will be interactive sessions, every step of the way I will make sure the student is following what's been taught. Math is daunting, and I always try my absolute best to make it fun to learn. I highly encourage every student of mine to write, write, and write because a pen and paper hold so much power, and math becomes easy to understand when you're writing down equations, or drawing diagrams for geometry. Together we will conquer the mathematical equations. I typically prefer online classes (Zoom/Google Meet/Teams, etc) and use online blackboards to teach the classes. My experience of being a tutor is very wholesome and satisfying. The little "Ooooooooo... okay okay okay, now I understand it!" is literally music to my ears. It's so satisfying to help a student understand, actually understand a concept in mathematics. I get the feeling of being so productive after every class, that feeling is unmatched! Also, I'm not all work and no play. I love to engage in fun conversations and have a few mindfulness activities between long sessions because it gets a bit too much of math after a while. Helping curb the math phobia one session at a time! Patience and consistency are key to falling in love with mathematics.
