I am a Distinction medical graduate from the University of Southampton and a qualified doctor.
With over 10 years of tutoring experience, I have a true passion for teaching. I also gained professional teaching experience while working in a London-based secondary school during my gap year.
I have a proven record of helping students achieve their goals. Whether it's securing top grades in GCSEs and A-levels, gaining acceptance to prestigious secondary schools, or receiving offers from their universities of choice.
Having excelled in my own GCSEs, A-levels, and university degree, I understand the challenges students face. What matters to me is instilling confidence in students to push through the education system and be proud of their achievements.
• Tutored over 50 students from KS1 to university level
• Tutored students for Oxford and Cambridge entry
• 1 year of teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant
• Over 10 years of tutoring experience in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Maths
• Tutored students for the 11+ exams, UKCAT, and Maths Challenge
• Greatest achievement: Following students from KS2 and seeing them gain entry to top universities
Before the first lesson, it’s important to understand the student's current level, exam board(s), and both the parent’s and student’s expectations.
• Lessons typically begin with a review of a specific topic or area of weakness (i.e., teaching), followed by working through related problem questions.
• As exam season approaches, I find it highly beneficial to focus on past papers, reviewing and solving the questions together.
• My aim is to instil the student with more confidence with the curriculum and in themselves while working towards the goals that were established at the first initial setting
