I have experience in the art schools and within many mediums (charcoal, pencils, pastels and oil pastels, watercolour, gouache, acrylic and oil paint, ceramics, modelling clay) and want to share the joy that they give me.

I have seen different ways of teaching and believe that the main goal is to get children interested, grab their attention and make them understand a practical and theoretical side of the world (in this case, the art world).
We would try different materials all the time, get our hands dirty and at the same time talk about arts in general.
Listening and talking about different periods of art history while creating is I believe the most engaging way to learn.
The length of the lesson depends on you, I can do an hour, hour and a half (probably the most optimal) or two.

For example:
Lesson 1 - drawing with charcoal or making natural dies and talking about cave paintings.
Lesson 2 - painting on pots, talking about ancient Greece.
Lesson 5 - making collages, talking about surrealism.
Lesson 7 - making reused paper, talking about ecology and natural art.
