My lessons are relaxed, interactive, and built around understanding rather than memorising. I usually start by finding out what the student already knows and where they’re getting stuck, then break the topic down into smaller, easier steps.

For Maths and Science, I focus on explaining the logic behind concepts before moving on to examples, practice questions, and problem-solving. For English, lessons can include grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, comprehension, and conversational practice depending on the student’s goals.

As an Engineering undergraduate, Math and Science are a big part of my own academic life, so I’m used to working through technical concepts and finding simpler ways to understand them. I’m also proficient in English and have experience tutoring students at home.

I don’t want my lessons to feel like another hour of school. Students are encouraged to ask questions, make mistakes, and tell me when something still doesn’t make sense and I’ll happily explain it a different way. My aim is for students to leave a lesson not just knowing the answer, but actually understanding how they got there and why it works.
