From personal experience, I have taught and tutored my three younger brothers through both SATS and GCSE's.
Additionally, I have in the past helped students with a lower reading age, by reading alongside them and breaking down words and meanings.
My method for more advanced students is to provide them with tips on the best methods on writing essays and structuring answers, marking any practice they may do outside of tuition time and provide them with feedback on how to improve, in order to achieve Grade 9's/A*s.
I am willing to accommodate for all exam boards and complement by advice dependant on the paper the student will be sitting.
This is due to the fact that, often, different exam boards require different strategies and techniques.
After having experience with OCR, AQA, Edexcel and Eduqas through my own studied I can analyse the intricacies and disparities between each exam board and the tactics they often use.
Essentially, I will break down all concepts on a personal level for the student and I will also be available outside of class times in order to mark practice papers, provide specific and crucial tips, which could easily be the distinction between an A and an A*.
Every student will be provided with a pack of resources to boost them ahead of the rest of their peers, based upon their own weaknesses and difficulties.
