In my lessons i will implicate the structures i have acquired through gcse to degree level. I will use fun interactive teaching methods to engage students helping them to learn in a fun environment. The content will range depending on the level and age of the student, however a wide verity of content will be taught. I will encourage students to improve on their weak areas of the subject by revisiting any topic areas which the student may not feel confident with. I can use a range of techniques to teach the subject, however this will be discussed during the first lesson so i can understand what may work best for the student, and will develop a teaching strategy around this. As a current uni student, i will also implement any techniques taught at uni as i see fit. This may include mentioning degree level structures if the student wants to excel exceptionally for their age, however no extras will have to be mentioned if the student does not wish, as for some students this is not necessary. I hope to be a friendly face to all students, building rapport and trust, creating an environment where all students can feel they can ask any and all questions they may have during their lessons. As mentioned, lessons can be curated for the students needs and wants, and this will be adaptable throughout the whole teaching time. As mentioned, i am a current university student, studying neuropsychology, giving me a great insight to what it takes to get to degree level in studies.
