My go to style is to put an emphasis on practice problems and understanding their solutions. Before that, however, I try to focus on trying to develop the student's understanding of the concept so that they have the sufficient tools to attempt the question in the first place.
I like to use a variety of textbooks since this maximising the student's exposure to different questions. Having fortunately achieved a top grade myself, I also like to provide advice to students on study plans and stress management close to exam time.
Overall, its a student-centric, comprehensive approach to building the mathematical capabilities of those I'm teaching. I'm very, very passionate about helping, so never feel afraid to ask any questions! Remember, no question is a silly question :)
