My experience in teaching has been in providing tutorial like presentations in the same style as those given at the University of Oxford along with lecture style lessons to groups of students. I have also engaged in giving 1-1 lessons over webcam where I have guided through work with the use of online whiteboards and problem sheets. My lessons therefore can be given in a variety of manners, including presentations, interactive sessions, lectures, worksheets/homework and guided textbook work.

My time as the volunteer training officer for Food Rescuers, A charity for the homeless, Gave me adequate experience in providing key information in a digestible and reasonable manner. Along with this and my wide range of methods, I prefer to spend a first session consulting on what works best for any given student. From then on, I will produced Tailored lessons which build on the students strengths and aim to target any weaknesses in a controlled and manageable manner. That way they will be able to have some independence throughout the process and helping provide the tools necessary to succeed once our tuition is finished.

I also am able to easily and readily understand concepts and ideas and therefore find that I can help to explain those ideas or concepts in a way that is easy to understand and should help to deal with topics that are confusing or conceptually difficult.
