I am a dedicated and qualified educator with over a decade of teaching experience in diverse educational settings in Hong Kong. As a native Cantonese speaker fluent in Mandarin and English, I bring a strong linguistic foundation and cultural understanding to teach Chinese. My qualifications include a Master of Education in Chinese Language & Literature (Distinction) from The University of Hong Kong, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education specializing in Secondary Chinese Education, and a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Language & Literature with a minor in Translation (Chinese and English).

Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a passion for inspiring students to achieve their academic and personal goals. As a secondary Chinese teacher for more than 10 years, I designed and delivered well-structured language and literature lessons aligned with the curriculum, developed customised learning materials, and implemented assessments to support student progress. My role as a Mandarin Teacher allowed me to foster language proficiency in over 200 students per semester, with a focus on speaking and listening skills.

I am skilled in lesson planning, classroom management, and individualized instruction, and I am adept at using technology to enhance learning experiences in both in-person and online settings. Now based in the UK with a valid working visa, I am eager to bring my expertise, adaptability, and enthusiasm to new opportunities. Whether teaching one-on-one or in groups, my goal is to create engaging and supportive learning environments that empower students to achieve their learning objectives.
