I am experience in teaching Biology to various students of different standards for over five years. My method of teaching is methodical, precise to the point with lively examples. I also prefer to provide PowerPoint presentations for easy understanding. I like my students to be engaged in the teaching process with spontaneous questions and answers. I believe in explaining all the concepts, cycles, and processes in detail with practical examples. I believe in giving easy assignments and taking impromptu exams weekly based on what's being taught. During the assignment assessment, we would discuss all the questions along with their answers. Impromptu exams will be mostly MCQs based. I like to incorporate biology lessons in daily life in simple ways to make students understand and explore different biological processes. For more investment of students, I encourage them to do practical tests possible from the comfort of their homes and surroundings like encouraging them to do gardening for understanding the concept of photosynthesis. I encourage students to use technology for assignments. I believe in both active (where students explore and understand various topics) and passive (through lectures) styles of teaching. Static diagrams are a very important part of understanding biology, I believe in diagram-based explanation whenever applied for thorough understanding. Students can ask questions after each session and select their topic of study. Students are encouraged to lecture on pre-prepared questions for an easy grasp of the subject. At the end of each session, students will be asked to write a summary based on what's being taught as an assignment on most days, and for the next session, we would start from the summary.
Let's not make biology a subject of phobia and easily understand it's concepts.
