My teaching approach involves using diverse learning methods, such as incorporating the body, music, movement, and videos. I create interactive classes through games, educational platforms, and other engaging resources. My experience includes teaching English and Science across different grade levels, as well as leading extracurricular programs like theater, reading promotion, and volleyball. I transform lessons into dynamic experiences that stimulate students' curiosity and foster their participation. This creates a fun and effective learning atmosphere that enhances comprehension and retention of the subject matter.
It is important for me that my students feel able to be who they are, making sure they aren't afraid of making mistakes and sometimes make a fool out of themselves while having fun exploring subjects in a different non conventional way. Although there is always the importance of being responsable and organized, therefore it is neccesary to have a good communication and honesty if the content isn't being understood clearly. It is important to be able to trust each other in completing our tasks as teacher (making significant classes easy to understand and engaging) and student (showing up to class, studying, investigating, participating and doing homework if neccesary). Respect of course is a must seeing as we both are people who want to be cared for and happy while sharing such a special moment that is this teaching and learning experience!
