I understand that math is not a subject that comes easily to people, and there are topics that are harder than others for people. As a person who enjoys math equations, I would like to at least help students enjoy the puzzle in front of them. My method of tutoring would be to first find out where the student is at in their knowledge and find a way to help them understand the method in the areas they don't. I hope to be able to go at a pace that is most helpful to the student.
