I have an A and 7 in A-level biology and GCSE biology respectively. I’ve completed my BSc in Medical biochemistry and will be furthering my study with a medicine degree this year. I have a strong foundation in biology and have tutored and mentored student in the past thus have experience with this.

My goal is to establish a cooperative relationship between myself and the student so that they get the most out of our sessions. I like to establish where the student excels and their weaknesses by first conversing with the student then giving a broad test that covers all the topics to gauge where support is needed.

I’m happy to tutor all exam boards though I’m most familiar with AQA for GCSE biology and edexcel A ( Salter Nuffield) for A-level biology. However I’m happy to review the other exam boards and familiarise myself with them so that sessions are better tailored to the students needs.

I then establish a plan with the student that is realistic and tailored to their studying preferences and goals, whether that be working through topic by topic or improving exam technique by going through questions, I like my classes to be flexible to personalised to the student.

I can also provide mentoring outside of academics for university applications and help with personal statements by proof reading, giving feed back and ideas to help improve and also provide support with medical school interviews by serving as a practice partner and also providing guidance and tips to improve as someone who has been through the process and gotten into medical school.
