I have performer's diplomas in both classical guitar and ukulele. I have several commercially published music books, qualified teacher status, more than 25 years teaching experience in schools and privately. My lessons are friendly, informal and flexible. I will teach you proper technique for your chosen instrument. If you just want to strum chords for voice accompaniment, I can show you everything you need to know in a few lessons! Then it's just practice.

I can also teach beginner banjo, including two finger style, clawhammer and bluegrass / Scruggs style. I am now teaching beginners piano as well, up to Grade 3

In addition to the above, I can teach solo blues guitar on steel string / acoustic guitar as well as finger picking style for song arrangements, using TAB and notation.
