I currently work in special education in a UK high school helping children with learning disabilities/disadvantages. This includes supporting children who speak English as a second language with SPaG (grammar), comprehension and general metacognitive difficulties. I am am qualified to level 5 to teach English as a foreign language. I have 2-3 years experience of teaching Chinese Mandarin speakers online, using platforms such as Zoom and Classin. My lessons will be interactive and tailored to the needs of each individual student using audio-visual aids and resources. I will ensure that I will do all I can to support my students in advancing in the language learning and to become more independant learners!
