English, though a popular language, is quite broad. Due to its popularity,most people do not take to time to appreciate the beauty and the complexity of this language. Being an English teacher or tutor is more than just teaching words and spellings and how to make sentences, it is about diving deep into the complexities of the language. When teaching examples are key, there is a big difference between being told something and being given a scenario to help understand. While teachers in schools have to teach fast in order to meet up with their termly timetables, tutors are able to break things down better for a deeper understanding. I always say teachers introduce the idea, tutors explain the concept and students do the building. Though this will be an online class it will be very interactive. Students will be encouraged to ask questions and be curious. There will be mandatory tests after every topic, homework will also be given to students in order to encourage more studying outside school and lessons. With breaking down topics to the simplest possible form, homework and a safe space to ask questions as well as tests and exams to track the progress of the student, this will be a recipie for success.
