I teach online classes that will be completed over a calling website. The student and I will be able to see each other (if they choose to have their camera on, which is not necessary if they would prefer not to) and I will be able to share my screen to show examples and workings. My first lesson will be completely about figuring out your personal strengths and weaknesses in maths. I will then spend some of my own time creating a personalised plan of action that I will share with you. Each lesson will be built around abolishing weaknesses and building on strengths. I teach in a fun interactive way and I am able to be flexible to the way you learn best. I am a visual learner whereas some of my previous students prefer to just do question after question. I am aware of many teaching skills and I am organised on when to use which skill. My lessons will begin with me explaining what we will focus on that session. I will then show examples of the questions explaining the maths in an 'easy to understand' but detailed way. I am always ready for any questions and I am prepared to set homework which will be optional but will help to further extend your knowledge faster. At the end of each session, I will listen to your feedback and I will make a note on any new topics or areas of work. After the first few sessions I will be able to fully understand the way you work and I will have completely altered my previous action plan to completely suit your preferred way of learning.
