I enjoy making fun lessons that keep children engaged and enjoying the lessons. I like to let children tell me what the believe that are good at and what they need help with, having a child have that involvement in their learning will lead to more enjoyment towards learning. I have ran many 1:1 phonic lessons which have all been done to suit the child I am teaching at the time. I have a lot of resources and I am signed up to many lesson planning sites. I encourage a mixture of reading and writing during my lesson plans as I do not want a child to get disengaged for doing one activity consistently.
