Hello, my name is Toni-Ann, and I am from Jamaica! I like reading books, listening to music and podcasts, and going to the beach. I also like watching television, especially Korean dramas!

I have over 15 years of tutoring and teaching experience. I have a teaching certificate in Spanish Education; I taught elementary and high school students in Jamaica for eight years.

I have been TEFL certified for over six years: I completed an online 120-hour TEFL course with International TEFL and TESOL Training. At this time, I am completing my Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics and TESOL at the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom. I taught EFL/ESL in Japan for seven years, and I worked with students of all ages, from elementary school to adult groups.

I have a "Student First" methodology. What does this mean? Well, this means that I first identify and assess the needs and learning styles of my students. Then, I plan my lessons to meet those needs and styles. It is very important to me that my students achieve their learning goals during our time together. I also work very hard to ensure that my students enjoy learning languages!
