Learn from a mixture of presentations, discussions and periodic testing. The lesson plan will be
1) going over the previous lessons content for roughly 10 mins
2) learning this lessons content for the majority of time (30-40mins)
3) in the remaining time, we can go over cultural aspects of what we have learned so far.

I will break up the learning into manageable topics so you will be learning one topic per week (dependent on ability/level and number of lessons a week). Then after 5 topics have been completed we will have a mini test to see what you have remembered. I will mark this and then tailor remaining lessons on where your weaknesses are. This way we can target and highlight which areas need work on. If there are specific areas you would like to learn then I encourage this as I can prepare some learning content towards this. Learning should be fun and engaging especially a language. I will try to make the lessons as interactive and enjoyable as possible where you are not bored and it is not just me talking on and on. I would like you to continue your language journey until proficiency so if there are aspects of my lessons you like, then I will implement them more in the future and if there are aspects you don’t like, I will try to minimize them in the future too.

I am half Japanese on my mothers side and have been speaking Japanese since birth. I speak it on a daily basis and frequently return to Japan. I also sat GCSE and A level in Japanese whilst in England and achieved A* in both.
