I have 7 years experience offering support to students at university in their mathematics queries. I aim to tailor our lessons to the particular subject(s) you are struggling in or which you wish to know more about.

We will break down the problems into their most basic parts and work on key techniques which could help us remember how to solve them. We will look at the theory behind the subject/problem or work following the topics you are learning currently to try obtain a better understanding which can help you in future exams.

The aim of the lessons will be to treat them less as a lesson, and more as a discussion about mathematics. That way we can better understand the subject and work towards finding a method to tackle the problem best suited for you. We will go through example problems and learn the theory, I will ask questions throughout but do not worry if you don't know the answer, not everyone learns at the same pace but we will find what works best for you.

We will try save 10-15 minutes at the end, if applicable to the topic, to look at some example problems to work through together to give you a chance to try to apply what you have learned. Like before, do not worry if it does not come quickly to you, this is all part of the learning experience but you will get it with time!
