In my late 20s I was over 19 stone in body weight and had a poor relationship with food. After trying and failing a few CRAZY diets, I joined a gym and worked with a personal trainer. I lost 7 stone in the process and my mental health significantly improved. I also found I started to fuel my body with foods which I knew would compliment my new life style. All these positive changes resulted in my quitting my banking job and becoming a personal trainer, so I could help like minded individuals.
The fitness world can be an intimidating place where everybody has an opinion. I will use science based research to help you. This will be through using techniques such as the Harris-Benedict equation for calculating your calories and manually calculating your maximum heart rate etc.
