I use a friendly professional style, working at your pace to learn to play music on guitar or piano

I am classically trained and can teach this style however I prefer to teach modern music and can teach rock, pop, hip hop or whatever you are in to

I can do home visits or work from home via online tutoring and can teach all ages and abilities

I have several years experience tutoring and have helped lots of students learn from scratch or improve their playing

I have taught in a privately run organisation called Brighton Rockschool running classes for young students and instructing them on how to play in a band setting.

I have also been a private music tutor and visited students at their home. Teaching piano or guitar to different ages and abilities.

In terms of piano I am comfortable teaching on a keyboard or real piano. In terms of guitar I mainly play acoustic and electric.

In terms of grades and lesson structures I like to teach one of three methods

-Classical grading through RSL. Including musical theory if required
-Rockschool qualifications both on piano and guitar
-Personal selection. If there are certain songs or a particular artist you like, I can tailor a number of similar perhaps easier songs to learn and practise and work towards achieving your goals.
