I have previous experience teaching from working at summer schools, and my teaching methods involve focusing on the areas of the subject that pupils struggle with the most and trying to find new or different ways to present them. I also try to get them thinking for themselves as much as possible so that pupils can feel as independent as they can while still having the help and input they need. I am very patient and determined to help any pupil in understanding the topics they struggle with in any way I can. I will usually ask the pupil for ideas of content to go through at the end of lessons so we can pick it up next session, but if there are any areas that they struggle with then let me know so I can plan sessions around those just in case. Sessions can be fairly flexible, though weekends and evenings are preferred for me due to my own studies at university.
