I tailor the lessons to the needs of the individual. It is helpful to understand the way in which an individual or company may best learn, and prepare content in this fashion. Exploring new or potentially more efficient ways to learn is useful too. The teaching will draw from my previous experiences, along with review of current (and if necessary, historic) literature. My experiences include an undergraduate degree in psychology, a postgraduate certification in CBT, and work experiences of acute inpatient wards, outpatient community mental health teams, primary care, and tertiary, specialist service. I have worked with individuals with mixed and complex presentations, including common mental health problems, personality and psychotic disorders, intellectual disability, and paraphilic disorders. I have offered support to individuals in inpatient settings, outpatient settings, and in forensic settings.
