Depending on what level at piano you are, i will cater the difficulty of the lesson specific to you. I will start with the basics and will not make anything too complecated to start. Many students starting to play piano struggle with lessons if they are too overwhelming and complicated. I wont fill your head with loads of knowledge that you dont need to know early on. Most of you usually just want to play piano! So thats what i will do, i will teach you how to play some simple songs as well as figure out how to improvise your own pieces by knowing what notes to play that sound nice together. I will give you a basic rundown of reading music and music theory so you understand the concept of writing piano music and following along to it whilst playing. The lessons will be very chill and creative, it wont be a strict session where you listen to me and then repeat, i will allow you to experiment. Many proffessional piano players are self taught at the beginning before they got any lessons. Meaning that i will give you a nudge in the right direction, as well as keeping you ahead of the people who would normally self teach themselves. This is also the reason i let my students be free and creative with their playing. I like my students to play around with the piano rather that just do what i say. The way most people learn is by experimenting and learning at their own pace. At the end of the day, learning about a piano and how to play it is meant to expand your creative knowledge, but also be fun!
