About me

My adult lessons (18+) are tailored to the student's needs. The goal is simple - you want to learn and be able to play; my job is to give you the tools and confidence to do so. This will include the reading of music, some theory and many tips on how to practice! If your aim is to jam along to songs with chords - then I can help with that, too. There is no "one shape fits all" mentality.

My adult lessons (18+) are tailored to the student's needs. The goal is simple - you want to learn and be able to play; my job is to give you the tools and confidence to do so. There is no "one shape fits all" mentality.

Standard lesson lengths are usually 30mins but I have found that adult lessons often benefit from being longer: 45mins or 60mins in length.

I have run my own private tutoring business for many years and have never had any students fail an exam - all have passed with merits or distinctions. I hold QTS and have a degree in Music.
