My sessions are structured as lectures, group discussions, group work , homework assignments, quizzes, and progress exams. With the previous pupils I have taught, I have discovered that it is more effective if I give a quick lecture on the subject and then participate in a conversation where formulas are memorised and examples that are comparable to what was taught in their classes are offered. My sessions are structured as lectures, group discussions, group work , homework assignments, quizzes, and progress exams. With the previous pupils I have taught, I have discovered that it is more effective if I give a quick lecture on the subject and then participate in a conversation where formulas are memorised and examples that are comparable to what was taught in their classes are offered. After that, administer a few quick tests to see if the pupil grasped what was explained. After every lesson, I give homework that needs to be turned in the following time I'm here. Then, after 3 consecutive tutoring sessions, I administer a progress test to determine whether the pupils have retained the information covered thus far.
