Upon my years of education, I have always had an interest in teaching and helping others to grow. I chose to study English Literature, History, Italian and Philosophy at A-Level which enabled me to study at the University of Warwick, and graduate with a degree in Classical Civilisation. Whilst in university, I was part of the student body, offering advice and help to other students. Furthermore, once I graduated I worked as a teaching assistant whilst completing my master's degree in Law. It was this experience that gave me the confidence to want to become a private tutor. I have worked with nursery children, primary education and secondary education. Within these different schools, I had to work with students that had ASD, ADHD and other learning/emotional difficulties. Overall, I thoroughly enjoying teaching because I am able to give students a voice and allow them to become more independent at school. I tend to use a lot of visual aids, ranging from videos and activities. I enjoy creating personal lesson plans, homework and a space for the student to be creative. I aim to teach my students in ways that are memorable, unique, fun and easygoing. Each student I have worked with has been different, thus, I believe it is important to cater to each student's needs.
