I love using real world resources, such as books, newspapers and songs, to help bridge the gap between grammar and speaking. I also enjoy making resources based around student's interests, in order to engage them and provide them with the tools they need to introduce themselves to others. I encourage my students to learn via exercises that are more open than traditional English workbooks, while still maintaining a structured approach. Each student will get tailored lessons that aim to address any weaknesses or issues in their language ability, as well as the opportunity to practise all aspects of language learning (speaking, reading, writing, linguistics, et cetera) in a blended approach. My experiences as a language assistant in Barcelona, as well as my TEFL qualifications assist greatly with this, allowing me to find the best method of teaching for each student, as nobody learns the same.
