Although I have very little experience in teaching, from my work experience i have found that I really enjoy teaching and love to help others to improve. Since I have just finished GCSEs, i have a good idea of what the examiners are looking for so i can provide insights as to what is wanted on GCSE.
Lower down in my schooling career I also struggled with my subjects and i appreciate how important a tutor was for me to improve. In year 9 I only got 30% in my end of year exam in physics! But thanks to the help from tutors and finding methods that helped me I have been able to improve massively to a point where I am very competent in my chosen subjects of Maths Physics Chemistry and geography. Through finding methods that helped me I was able to get 85% in my GCSE physics. I believe that this academic journey has helped me to find excellent revision methods and has helped me to improve and has helped me to understand tricky topics.
In this journey for improvement I have found a number of resources that are excellent in helping me understand these topics and i would give these to my students too to help them. I have extensive notes as well which i could send to my students which were indicative for my success at GCSE. I would love to help students who were in my position years ago when i was truly struggling, to make that improvement easier!
