ASSISTANT TUTOR, FIRST CLASS LEARNING
I work as one of several assistant tutors committed to helping students from Primary School ages up until Year 11. I read through pre-prepared lessons with pupils, ensuring that they understand the work they are being provided with. The work mainly consists of math, teaching both from the WJEC mathematics and numeracy courses, with occasional English lessons aimed at younger age groups. Benefits of the job include improved social skills with young children as well as teenagers. Also, the job requires a certain degree of independence and understanding as lessons may need to be adapted to different individuals.
