Toby Clarke

Hey! My names Toby and I'm looking to take on tutees having hard time with GCSE or A Level maths, or need help revising for exams.

A bit about me
I strive for open communication and to be understanding of students of all levels. I pride myself on my organisational skills I have developed over the previous couple years at university. Not only have I had extensive experience as a mathematician (achieving A* and A in a level maths and further maths), but have tutored my younger brother for his 11+ exams, taken care of my older brother who has Down's Syndrome, and have mentored maths students at my previous school. I have presented technical concepts to non technical audiences in my degree, and most importantly really enjoy helping people!

About my lessons
I general, I start off with an intro session to get an idea of where the student is at. I organise lesson plans in advance and alter my approach depending on the skill level, maintaining my general style of breaking down concepts to their core parts and building them back up to solidify understanding.
