I believe combining a variety of teaching methods can be the most effective when it comes to learning a language. I provide tailored lessons and customisable lesson plans which I believe are essential in mastering the language as individuals have different strengths and weaknesses and everyone learns differently. Depending on the main aim of tutoring, I set clear, achievable goals so that it creates motivation and a sense of purpose in their learning journey, which also allows me to track progress more easily. By incorporating multimedia resources such as articles and videos, I also prioritise interactive activities such as games, role-play and discussions so that students can apply it to real-life scenario as well as building their confidence in conversing in the language. Alongside building skills in the language itself, I also find it important to understand the cultural nuances of the language in order for effective communication to take place.
