I have had previous work experience working in schools and my teaching methods will be aimed at how the student best learns. I will be using past papers closer to GCSEs and as help for revision. I want to help the student get the best grade they can achieve but they need to put in the work aswell with revision. I believe anyone can pass GCSE biology even if its with some extra help. I will make sure to target weak points of their subject knowledge and help them strive for success. The lessons will be engaging and cover all bases of biology for GCSEs. If I set homework it won't be difficult but instead a mind map most of the time of a topic and everything the student can remember about it for the next lesson so I can see what needs to be taught and areas of improvement. I will also go through exam structure and how 6 marker questions are structured to make sure the student picks up all the marks they can.
