I am constantly striving to make my lessons more interactive and engaging for my students and tailor to their individual needs. I do this by asking for feedback during and after lessons, as well as discussing with both the parent and student how they would prefer to be taught and what works best for them. In terms of content, I go through exam style content and questions in order to best prepare my students for their specific exams, however, if there is a particular topic that they are struggling in, I can construct alternative lessons plans to accommodate this. For most students, I find that a lot of verbal questioning and direction yields the best results, (especially in young, energetic primary school children) ,moreso when this is paired with positive reinforcement. Overall, I am committed to and passionate about educating the next generation, which I find extremely rewarding and I am looking to go into full time work as a teacher/educator in the future.
