Hello students!
Having recently completed a 4-year Chemistry degree at the University of Birmingham, I believe that I have obtained the knowledge to help you with your future endeavours, whether that be in Chemistry or something completely different! As your guide and mentor, my goal is to make chemistry accessible and enjoyable. I am very familiar with the A-level and GCSE specifications, and I'm eager to help you tackle challenging questions. I believe in a hands-on approach to learning; I will be make excessive use of the whiteboards and visuals to help ensure you understand the concepts. I'll be here to support you every step of the way, whether it's through simplifying difficult topics, providing practical study tips, or encouraging you to think critically and creatively. During my university studies I have also had the experience working in a pharmaceutical company and carrying out chemistries on a practical level. So if you have a passion for science, I can provide an insight into the world of Chemistry!
To help structure the lesson to get the most out of each lesson, I would first start to cover the topics which you find difficult and would plan my lessons according to that.
General structure of the lesson would go as follows:
-A brief plan on what topics to cover ( This could be from class or something which you arent too comfortable with).
-Spend time on ensuring you have mastered the content using exam questions and how to answer these types of questions
-Short quizzes to help you remember the content
