I like to forge a good connection with my students. This may require time in some instances where children lack trust or confidence but my aim is to always know that my students are excited to see me and to learn new things during our lessons. I love smiles and laughter, happy children learn best. I follow the students interests and tailor what they enjoy to form a learning path for them that brings out their creativity and helps them push forward in their English learning. I like to hear students read and expand their vocabulary so that they can form stories of their own and use that as a vehicle for learning new grammar and punctuation skills. I incorporate word based games such as scrabble and crosswords into lessons to help my students understand vocabulary and spelling with a challenge.
