As part of my teaching process, I will always take into account the requirements of your level of study and knowledge you already possess about the topic. Our first lesson will incorporate the discussion about your strengths and weaknesses, to inform the structure and substance of the future lessons.
I will deliver lectures on relevant legal principles and cases relating to the core areas and associated topics of your particular specification (up to the 2nd year of undergraduate study), such as English legal system, criminal law, tort, contract, human rights and others that are either of interest or studied optionally by you.
My lectures will be designed in the most comprehensive way possible, with PowerPoint slides condensing and clarifying points I have articulated orally. Furthermore, there would be plenty opportunities to raise any questions, either throughout the lecture, or by the end, as I will aim to finish in advance, so that you can contribute your own thoughts to a wider legal discussion.
Before we begin to explore a new topic, I will use various tools to consolidate previous learning, like Kahoot or Quizlet quizzes containing multiple choice questions that cover the main aspects of the presentation, understanding of which can be tested at all time, as is convenient to you.
If you wish so, lessons can be dedicated to your assessment or exam revision, where we will practice applying the law to the problem questions or analysing it with reference to current events and material of academic and social importance.
