I teach using the practice method. We first of all set a time for scheduling the lesson. I will have the topic and notes that will assist in shortening the learning time. I would take time explaining and giving examples. I would encourage practice of subject until it can be remembered for a long time and be used in day to day activities. Experience with mathematics and languages show that it requires constant problem-solving skills. It is the skill to be able to discern whether there is an incorrect or correct statement being made. The skills to be able to engage in questions and quizzes without fear will encourage confidence and maturity when taking exams. I will also ensure the student is time-conscious by giving them mock or surprise exams to gauge their intellect and progress within the subject. I will guarantee higher grades as practice makes perfect. I would break each subject from hardest to comprehend and learn to the easiest to learn. If a subject is easy to learn, we would not take much time in discussing unless there is confusion in that subject area. Lessons will be fun, engaging, exciting and mind-blowing. I would ensure the child or adult is getting quality tutoring and mentorship to not only to understand the subject matter, but to also create a researching habit within them. It also helps if the student is hardworking, willing to learn and would like to change bad habits which leads to low grades. I would teach children or adults elimination methods when it comes to multiple choices questions. I would also encourage them to always show their work or how they came up with solutions. Join me and see your child shine!!
