There is a lot of content that you are required to learn and to understand in order to be successful at IGCSE. But through the years I have spent countless hours figuring out some pretty solid methods to not just learning but memorizing all that information and being able to correctly "spit it out" on to the exam paper. I particularly love tutoring Maths, Chemistry and Biology and spent most of my time revising those subjects. However, I can also tutor History as well as Food and Nutrition. The methods I use when tutoring differ by subject, but a few of my favourites that are present in each are; flash cards for active recall, mind maps and simple diagrams for the more visual learners and what I like to call "rinse and repeat" (Read, Instil, Notion, Speak, Exam). I know how draining some days at school can be when the information is going in one ear and out the other. Well, I'm here to help with that! I feel that my methods of tutoring are effective and balanced, in the way that I combine compulsory knowledge with less "mind numbing" intellectual activities. I have previously tutored fellow IGCSE students as well as younger students who need study tips from a new perspective.
