I have 26 years of experience as an English teacher. I teach General and Academic English skills, based around language and (if required) literature. I have experience as an IELTS examiner, a GCSE English and A level English examiner, and am a Trinity College London examiner too.
My lessons will meet your specific needs or wishes, according to exactly what it is that you tell me you want. That could be anything from preparing for a specific exam like IELTS through to confidence building in spoken English, English for study or work, or even for very personally reasons. As such, I use different techniques according to your own needs: for example, someone might need a discussion heavy lesson to build fluency, someone might need a lot of correction to improve pronunciation, someone else might need lots of writing support and feedback on how they are constructing their sentences and paragraphs. Lessons will be 100% interactive, focusing on you developing your skills. If it is a literature or non fiction reading lesson, you’ll be doing the reading with me for support, and I will help you to interpret and analyse the material according to what exam you want to take, or as per your personal wishes.
