I love teaching science and maths; I'm confident that I've inspired many students over the years to take up A levels, university courses and careers in the sciences. My students, whatever their ability, have seemed to find me approachable and are comfortable sharing their concerns about the topics they need help with. I can remember the times when I found things difficult at school - I try to keep those experiences in mind when teaching.

I don't have a fancy approach to tutoring but these are things I think I do well:
- gauge the students understanding and adapt the lesson to fit them as we go.
- create a relaxed, friendly atmosphere free from pressure.

I’ve always been available to my students year-round until the job is done. In fact, I've supported some students through their entire academic journey from year 7 until they went off to university.
