I am holder of a classical guitar diploma which is equal to university level and I have completed my studies with distinction. My level of knowledge in music theory incudes excellent knowledge of Harmony, Counterpoint and Fugue. I am committed to providing a solid education and instilling music appreciation in all students.
My experience in classical guitar reaches 30 years of teaching and 45 years of playing. During all these years I have exclusively devoted myself to classical guitar. This led to high specialisation and a level of knowledge and experience that would have been hard to achieve had I deviated to also studying other kinds of guitars.
As a specialist in classical guitar teaching, I can provide my students with highly specialised knowledge and wide range of experiences in the study of classical guitar. This would not only help them better understand and enjoy playing this musical instrument, thus covering their needs, but would also open their minds in exploring endless musical and technical quests.
I have tracked record of outstanding teaching which is evident in the high calibre of my graduates who achieved “Excellence” in their degrees.
I studied Flamenco music for a year. I have also explored and experimented with composing mixed genre-music such as Blues, Latin and Jazz.
